Children’s Ministry

We offer several opportunities for children to plug in and learn about God and His Word!

It all begins with our Nursery. Every time we meet at Bethel, we want to offer parents with young children the chance to fully focus on worship and learning about God. To make that easier, we always staff our nursery with loving and kind caretakers who will watch after your little one with the utmost care. Our nursery is spacious, clean, and engaging for little hands with big curiosities. We are very proud of our nursery space and encourage you to come and look it over when you visit.

On Sunday mornings at 9:45 am, we offer Sunday School for our children. There is a special class for toddlers because we believe that it is never to early to begin to teach a child that God loves them. The next age group is our 3yr-Kindergarten class. We also have a 1st-3rd grade class and a 4th-6th grade class that meets for Sunday School as well. You can be assured that your child will be learning about God in a developmentally appropriate way with gifted and passionate teachers every week. Your child will have a blast!

On Sunday evenings we have a special program called Awana. You can find out more about Awana by clicking here!

On Wednesday night, we take the opportunity to teach our young people how to live out their faith in the world with missions classes. Each class meets from 7:00-8:00pm.

Our 3 year olds – Kindergartners get to be a part of Mission Friends! This incredible program begins teaching Christian mission concepts to our youngest friends in an approachable and understandable way. It helps to provide the basic building blocks of faith while teaching God’s love or all people!

Our 1st-3rd graders and 4th-6th graders both have individual CIA classes. CIA stands for Children in Action and is a place for every elementary student to learn about and pray for missions. Through CIA, your child will not only learn about the Word of God and how people are sharing its message around the world. They will get to be a part of that work through prayer and doing their own mission projects!

If you have any questions, want to talk, or just want a chance to preview our Children’s wing before visiting on a Sunday or Wednesday, please feel free to call Bro. Josh Carden, our Youth and Children’s Pastor at 731-235-2582.
