What We Believe

We are a body of Bible believing, God fearing, People Loving Christians who desire to Honor and Glorify God, Worship our Savior, Jesus Christ and be led by His Holy Spirit.

We believe there is One God.

We believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit and He is ONE!

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God that it is powerful, literal, relevant, without error and the foundational standard for how we should live.

We believe our purpose is to glorify God.

We believe ALL mankind has sinned and fallen short of His standard and His Glory and our sin has separated us from a relationship with God.

We believe Jesus Christ is God the Son who came to earth, born of a virgin and was fully God and fully man and He came to be the supreme sacrifice for our sin, when He died on the cross.

We believe Jesus came, He lived a perfect life without sin so he could be that sacrifice, He died, and was resurrected on the third day, conquering death.

We believe in a literal, eternal place called Heaven reserved for those who accept Jesus as Savior and Lord.

We believe in a literal, eternal Hell reserved for those who don’t accept Jesus as Savior and Lord.

We believe that once you accept Jesus as your Savior and Lord, you are safe and secure in His arms and can’t lose that relationship with Him.

We believe that a relationship with Jesus Christ is TOTALLY initiated by God and that we CAN NOT work our way into a position that makes us RIGHT with Him.

We believe in the literal, physical return of Jesus Christ to the earth when He will gather His children who accepted him both alive and dead.

We believe in the two ordinances of the church, the Lord’s Supper and Baptism by immersion.

We believe that we are commanded to evangelize the World starting at home so that ALL will have an opportunity to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, then we should continue our pursuit with discipleship, encouraging growth in that knowledge once received.

We believe and support the Baptist Faith and Message as amended in 2000.
